The PHYTOVAC process is accepted by the United States Department of Agriculture, Animal Plant Health and Inspection Service, in the Treatment Manual, and the International Plant Protection Congress, in ISPM 15, as a pre-shipment and quarantine treatment for many products moving internationally.

PHYTOVAC Chambers are installed, turn-key, easy to use, and performance is warrenteed. The equipment is available to operate using many different energy sources including natural gas, propane, electric and biofuels.

PHYTOVAC safely treats wood products without the use of poisonous fumigants. The PHYTOVAC process is the only practical alternative to  the fumigation of heavy skids and timbers.

Treat wood pallets in less than 50 minutes using 33% less energy than ovens. You can quickly heat treat piled pallet parts before assembly. The process steam cleans used wood pallets during heat treatment. The chambers takes up less than half the space of an oven of the same productivity.

Logs can be sanitized for international export or import in less than 10 hours without affecting wood quality, in 40 foot container quantities. They can be treated to the T314 HT schedule in the UDSA Treatment Manual, which is accepted by US trading partners.
